It's 6 am in the morning I jump from bed and rush to bathroom to finish my morning routines. Swished through my wardrobe to pick my outfit for the day and some matching accessories. Amidst all this the phone rings and I go " Yes Elen, i'll be there in 10". I rush outside ,managed to get myself a hassle free auto ride to the pickup point. That's where it all started. So it had been long since I had met any of my school friends ,so this meet up was something that I looked forward to. My Buddy Elen a doctor in making ,is a great planner when it comes to meet ups ,so this time she came up with an interesting itinerary of visiting the the Jain temple in Mattanchery to experience the pigeon feeding ritual that happens every afternoon. As always I was up for it and this time we had company ,Adarsh {another batchmate from RPS}.It was truly an enriching experience from going on the JANGAR [A ferry service which carries vechicles across to the shore],to rushing through the streets of Mattanchery to be on time to witness the ritual, to catching some lip smacking Malabar biriyani at KAYEES CAFE ,to strolling on the beach trying to spot crabs .The day ended by paying a visit to our almamater RAJAGIRI Public School and pondering on the wonderful memories from the past .Watch my Vlog featuring this experience to visually enjoy it.The Video link is attached below.
